Sisbro Receives National Safety Award for Second Straight Year
Happy National Logistics Day! We're especially proud to be presented with a Platinum National Safety Award by Great West Casualty Company today! This marks our second straight year of earning the highest safety award. We credit our drivers, with the support of our team, for this honor.
The National Safety Awards program recognizes motor carriers in similar operations (truckload and less than truckload) with awards based on their year-end preventable crash results.
Carriers are eligible to receive a Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Participatory award.
We are proud to have earned the highest honor of a Platinum award for 2021.
This distinction is credited to our Drivers, with the support of our entire team.
The commitment to safety begins during orientation and continues through on-going training. Innovative safety initiatives such as Sisbro Bob Matter Moments create a safety-first culture. Since the late 1950s, our family has been a part of the trucking industry, starting with one truck and trailer. In the 1980s, we founded Sisbro, a combination of sister and brother, to carry on our family values. As our business grew, we joined an organization in 1990 to expand our customer base and make use of new technology. However, we retained our name and identity as a family-owned business.
Located in Quincy, Illinois, we primarily serve customers in 17 states throughout the greater Midwest. We also offer expanded coverage upon request. Our services include a variety of transportation, warehouse, and dock services. Perishables, building materials, general commodities, and animal feed are just some of the products we transport.
